there’s a woman in the snow
taking pictures down on
Murtagh Road
where the trees stand tall in the dark
by the street light near Billy Edward’s Park
and if Billy were alive
he’d be out there with her
chatting ’bout old time
’47 don’t you know
we lived through the bitter cold
and no end of snow
and sometime when we’re not here
will somebody have the same idea
running out into the snow
with their camera in tow
Down on Murtagh Road
